Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to support the development and maintenance of our web applications and internal systems. This role offers hands-on experience in web development and is ideal for candidates eager to learn and grow technically.

The role includes developing and maintaining websites, assisting frontend and basic backend tasks, implementing UI designs, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly websites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of backend concepts (APIs) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development & Support

Assist in developing and maintaining websites and web applications

Support frontend and basic backend development tasks

Implement UI designs into functional web pages

Ensure websites are responsive and user-friendly

System Maintenance & Debugging

Identify and fix bugs or technical issues

Perform testing and basic troubleshooting

Support system updates and improvements

Work closely with designers and developers on project requirements

Assist in integrating frontend with backend systems

Follow development guidelines and coding standards

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue) is an advantage

Basic understanding of backend concepts (e.g. APIs) is a plus

Able to communicate effectively in English & Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills

Salary & Benefits

Monthly salary: RM3,000 - RM4,000
