Job summary

Binasat Communication Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a junior project assistant to support telecommunications and infrastructure initiatives. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.

The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, performing site visits, and maintaining documentation such as schedules, reports, and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing telecommunication and infrastructure projects.
• Support the Project Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work schedules, progress reports, site reports, method statements, and project records.
• Monitor project milestones and follow up on pending tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Assist in preparing project quotations, cost estimates, and material requisitions when required.
• Ensure project activities comply with company policies, client requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action item follow-ups.
• Identify project risks or issues and escalates them to the Project Manager with proposed solutions.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment mobilization, and site logistics.
• Assist with project testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
