Job summary

Ludo Playscape Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design and develop structural frameworks for playgrounds and related installations.

You will model structures using AutoCAD, SAP2000, perform load calculations, ensure safety standards, oversee construction on site, and coordinate with designers, project teams and fabricators to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural frameworks for playgrounds and related installations.
• Create and analyse structural models using software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or other relevant tools.
• Perform load calculations, including wind, gravity, live loads, and other environmental or human-induced forces.
• Ensure all designs comply with construction safety standards and playground safety guidelines.
• Select suitable construction materials based on structural and technical specifications.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to engineering plans and safety protocols.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors to ensure construction works comply with approved structural designs and safety standards.
• Track and document project progress, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with designers, project teams, and fabricators to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support ad-hoc assignments as directed by Managers or the Managing Director.
