Job summary

Ludo Playscape Malaysia is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and develop structural frameworks for playgrounds and related installations. You will create structural models using AutoCAD and SAP2000, perform load calculations, and ensure designs meet safety standards and guidelines.

The role requires overseeing on-site construction, materials selection, and coordination with designers, project teams, and fabricators to ensure timely, quality completion. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural frameworks for playgrounds and related installations.
• Create and analyst structural models using software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or other relevant tools.
• Perform load calculations, including wind, gravity, live loads, and other environmental or human-induced forces.
• Ensure all designs comply with construction safety standards and playground safety guidelines.
• Select suitable construction materials based on structural and technical specifications.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to engineering plans and safety protocols.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors to ensure construction works comply with approved structural designs and safety standards.
• Track and document project progress, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with designers, project, and fabricators to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support any ad-hoc assignments as directed by Managers or the Managing Director.
