Job summary

Hilton Malaysia is seeking a Junior Sous Chef - Cold Kitchen to lead daily kitchen operations and help bring our culinary vision to life. You will be responsible for overseeing production, branding seasonal menus, and ensuring high standards of guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

You will collaborate with other kitchen sections and Front of House teams, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; culinary/hospitality education preferred
• Strong cooking skills in a fast-paced kitchen
• Good time management and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary team operations with hands-on coaching to kitchen staff
• Oversee production lists, line checks, and expediting service periods
• Develop and implement seasonal menus and daily specials
• Foster collaboration between Front of House and Back of House teams
• Provide administrative support: inventory, ordering, scheduling
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
