iSoftStone is seeking an entry-level Site Reliability Engineer to monitor and maintain production systems in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. You will respond to alerts, assist in troubleshooting, perform health checks, and support deployments.

The role emphasizes teamwork across engineering and infrastructure, rotating shifts, and a strong willingness to learn cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation. English and Mandarin communication is required.

Qualificações

• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes: Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress.
• Basic Shell scripting and ability to write simple scripts.
• Basic Linux knowledge: commands, logs, filesystem operations.
• Basic networking concepts: IP, DNS, TCP/UDP, routing, load balancing.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and maintain daily operations, availability, and stability of production systems and services.
• Respond to alerts, incidents and service requests; assist in troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform routine health checks, log analysis, service verification, and maintenance activities.
• Support deployments and configuration changes per operational procedures.
• Assist in managing Kubernetes environments and investigating cluster issues.
