Job summary

SNSoft SDN BHD is hiring for a Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure. You’ll monitor systems with Prometheus and Grafana, automate deployments, and collaborate with developers to improve reliability. A strong foundation in Linux, scripting, Docker, and cloud platforms is required, with IaC expertise a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Eagerness to learn and grow in Site Reliability Engineering
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go
• Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for container management
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and a willingness to deepen knowledge
• Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Interest in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Bonus: automation mindset and strong debugging skills
• Bonus: excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Innovate and build high-performance site infrastructure to set industry standards
• Learn and implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools
• Automate deployment, incident response, and other processes for reliability
• Debug and resolve technical issues across diverse environments
• Collaborate with developers to optimize system performance and reliability
• Master Terraform and IaC for scalable, resilient applications
• Join on-call rotations to ensure high system availability
• Continuously optimize infrastructure for efficiency and scalability
