Job summary

Tonasco Malaysia is seeking a driven Key Account Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering to lead strategic accounts in the high-tech manufacturing sector.

You will manage domestic and international sales, develop plans, build relationships, handle RFQs and orders, and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction; travel as required. This role is non-commission based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in key account management or sales in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience handling industrial clients in high-tech sectors such as Semiconductor or Medical instruments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Results-driven, proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Location: Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.

Responsibilities

• Manage and achieve sales targets for assigned key accounts across domestic and international territories.
• Develop and execute account plans, sales strategies, and marketing activities to drive business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular visits, meetings, and exhibitions.
• Manage and process RFQs and Sales Orders, provide competitive quotations, and follow up effectively to secure orders.
• Monitor and resolve customer complaints and delivery issues in collaboration with relevant teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate customer data, track opportunities, and generate reports using CRM and ERP systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to support customer enquiries, quotations, and order fulfilment.
