Job summary

Asia File Products Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will monitor plans, adjust for demand and material changes, and collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to optimise the supply chain.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in SCM/Operations, 1–2 years planning experience, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands
• Monitor and adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, material availability, or other factors
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
• Analyse production data and generate reports to track key performance metrics
• Provide support to the planning and logistics teams to optimise the supply chain
• Assist with inventory management and the coordination of material procurement
