Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia also required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; sheet metal background is a plus.
• Able to read drawings and interpret welding symbols, surface finishes, and tolerances.
• Willingness to travel and work independently.

Job description

Create accurate computer-aided design (CAD) models using customer drawings to ensure precise component representation for manufacturing purposes.

Execute precise process plans in accordance with customer specifications to ensure the efficient and seamless integration of manufacturing processes into the workflow.

Continuously improve the CAD and process methodologies, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to enhance manufacturing efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and refine CAD designs and process plans with project objectives and customer specifications.

Gather, document and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement in the production process.

Key Skills and Qualification

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Must be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with customers and colleagues are a large focus within the job.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in relevant field. Working experience in sheet metal environment will be an added advantage.

Able to travel and work independently.
