Job summary

Fluxion Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Junior Piping Design Engineer based in Puchong, Selangor. The role focuses on developing piping designs, 2D/3D drawings, and coordinating with project teams to meet client specifications.

You will work closely with senior engineers, learn plant modelling, and contribute to a range of refineries and industrial facilities. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and develop professionally within the firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Process/Cold Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop piping design drawings, 2D isometrics and 3D plant models using CAD software.
Prepare plant pipe routing and layout designs for various process and industrial facilities.
Collaborate with engineers, project teams and clients to translate requirements into piping designs.
Prepare technical documentation including drawings, BOMs and fabrication details.
Read and interpret P&ID, GA, E&I drawings and other engineering docs.
Perform 3D modelling and pipe stress considerations per ASME B31.3 / B31.1.
Coordinate with Electrical/Instrumentation for 3D model integration.
Conduct design checks and quality reviews to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
Travel for site visits and project coordination as needed.
Maintain organized design records and project files.
