Job summary

Talentvis, a leading global provider of advanced piping systems and fluid conveyance solutions, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to cover Nilai, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. You will create and review technical bids, blueprints, and piping calculations, focusing on flow rates, pressure drops, and thermal expansion.

Collaborate with international engineering divisions and internal procurement, logistics, and sales teams to oversee prefabrication from drawings to delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of overall engineering experience, with 1–2 years in piping systems.
• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in Mandarin.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and pipe stress.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Job description

Joining a leading global provider of advanced piping systems and fluid conveyance solutions. Our industrial applications serve critical sectors worldwide, including data centers, microelectronics, marine, and HVAC infrastructure. This company specialize in engineering value-driven, high-quality piping configurations that optimize efficiency and project delivery for our clients.

This role will be covering 3 sites - Nilai, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design: Create and review technical bids, blueprints, and engineering calculations for mechanical piping (covering flow rates, pressure drops, thermal expansion, and bracketing).

Costing & MTO: Handle material selection, project cost estimates, and Material Take-offs (MTO) from engineering drawings.

Client Alignment: Lead technical reviews with customers, check fabrication feasibility, and present data-backed piping proposals.

Project Execution: Oversee custom prefabrication work from drawing reviews to final delivery, ensuring compliance with local installation laws.

Team Collaboration: Partner with international engineering divisions and coordinate with internal procurement, logistics, and sales teams.

Technical Support: Provide engineering assistance across both pre-sales scoping and post-sales project phases.

Requirements

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

Language: Proficient in Mandarin is a Must.

Experience: 3–5 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years focused on piping systems.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fluid dynamics (flow rates, friction loss, pipe stress).

Work Style: Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under tight project deadlines.

Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD 2D/3D.

Advanced Take-offs: Ability to perform full MTOs for construction projects directly from Revit, schematics, and P&ID layout drawings.

Industry Background: Exposure to the Microelectronics (ME) sector is highly preferred due to fast-track project experience. Experience in HVAC, Data Centers, or Water Treatment is a plus.
