Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer to develop and review technical proposals, quotations, and piping system designs, including engineering calculations and solution validation.

You will oversee fabrication project execution, perform drawings review, pipe stress analysis, and provide pre- and post-sales engineering support, coordinating with global teams to ensure efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience with piping system design and calculations.
• Ability to read and extract BQ from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Propose piping solutions that fit customer requirements and budgets.
• Liaise with solutions team for pipe stress analysis and supports.
• Perform material take-offs and project costing from drawings.
• Communicate piping requirements to customers and internal teams.
• Review drawings and assess fabrication feasibility for proposals.
• Coordinate CAD drawing proposals with prefab team to add value.
• Analyze piping design strengths/weaknesses for HVAC, ME, Marine, data centre apps.
• Ensure proposals meet local authority approvals when required.
