Job summary

Keen Point (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Mold Flow Analysis Engineer for plastic injection moulding based in Malaysia. You will undergo comprehensive training and assist senior engineers in mold flow analysis, CAE simulations and in preparing analysis reports.

Responsibilities include supporting analysis of filling, packing, cooling, warpage and weld lines; evaluating new mold designs and providing optimization recommendations; and coordinating with internal and overseas teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/plastics/related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of plastic injection molding and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Moldflow, Moldex3D or other CAE software is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn and develop in mold flow simulation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates with relevant internship/project experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical training according to the department's training plan.
• Assist senior engineers in conducting mold flow analysis and CAE simulations.
• Assist in preparing mold flow analysis reports and simulation results.
• Support analysis of filling, packing, cooling, warpage, weld lines and other molding characteristics.
• Assist in evaluating new mold designs and providing optimization recommendations.
• Assist in preparing DFM and mold flow related technical documents.
• Support mold design engineers in reviewing mold flow analysis results.
• Assist with mold trial data collection and comparison between simulation and actual molding results.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and overseas design teams.
• Perform other engineering tasks assigned by the department.
