Job summary

IBRONX Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (Automation) to lead project workstreams and collaborate on automation solutions. The role involves creating machine drawings, BOMs, and coordinating with production and clients to refine concepts and deliver actionable designs.

Candidates should possess an engineering degree and be proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SOLIDWORKS.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Electrical/Electronic, Industrial or Mechanical).
• Fresh graduates or 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and CAD tools.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and report independently on assigned projects.
• Perform cycle time studies from conceptual proposals.
• Interface with clients on concepts and provide design solutions.
• Prepare machine part drawings and BOMs; develop 2D/3D drawings.
• Collaborate with team to develop machine designs and guides technicians.
• Support production during assembly, testing and site installation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To be able to lead and report independently on project assigned.

To provide cycle time study base on conceptual proposal

To deal with client base on conceptual presented

To obtain technical information from sales and prepare conceptual & actual design for automation solutions.

To prepare machine part drawing and associated documentation such as BOM list.

To collaborate and work together with team member for the machine design concept arising from the projects.

Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

To perform detailed parts drawing, assembly drawing, pneumatic diagram & BOM list

To assist production section to solve any technical problems during assembly, testing and site installation

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Fresh Graduates or 3 to 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
