Job summary

ResourceCo is seeking a skilled Shipping/Logistics Coordinator in Malaysia to manage shipment bookings, documentation, and communication with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers. You will support daily supply chain operations and assist with customs clearance to ensure smooth goods movement.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field, plus 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of shipping documentation, import/export procedures, and customs clearance processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment bookings and monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documentation and related records.
• Assist in coordinating customs clearance processes and ensure the smooth movement of goods.
• Provide regular shipment updates and communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate shipping and procurement records in accordance with company procedures.
• Support day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned by the Management.
