Job summary

MyRafee Design Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable architect/interior architect to coordinate and produce AutoCAD drawings, prepare submission and construction drawings, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project managers, attend site visits, and present design concepts.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' experience are required, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Familiar with authority submission process and construction process.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, SketchUp or other drafting and modeling software.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minor supervision.
• Strong knowledge in interior fit-out project management and technical detailing.
• Own transport and willing to travel when required.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and produce drawings in AutoCAD.
• Produce submission, construction, design and dimension drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Adhere to schedule given.
• Assist project manager to supervise activities on site.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, colour schemes, and design presentations.
• Propose design solutions prioritising functionality, space efficiency & aesthetics.
• Work with contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure design intent is delivered.
• Attend site visits to monitor progress and verify workmanship aligns with plans.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site design issues.
