Job summary

GD Pavilion Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to support the company’s daily finance and accounting activities. The role covers accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliation, with a view to developing accounting skills in the property development and construction sector.

You will assist with full set of accounts and monthly/year-end closings, while liaising with auditors, tax agents, banks, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in full set of accounts is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling full set of accounts and daily accounting activities.
• Prepare, verify, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Process payments and respond to supplier payment queries.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including overdue balances.
• Prepare bank reconciliation and statements of account for debtors and creditors.
• Assist with monthly and year-end account closing.
• Assist in preparing cash flow reports and monitoring banking facilities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist the Finance Manager with daily finance-related tasks.
• Ensure proper filing and organisation of finance documents.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
