We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to support the Company's daily finance and accounting activities.
The role will assist with accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliation, account closing, financial records, and other finance-related matters. This is a good opportunity for candidates who want to develop their accounting skills and gain experience in the property development and construction industry.
Assist in handling full set of accounts and daily accounting activities.
Prepare, verify, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
Process payments and respond to supplier payment queries.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including overdue balances.
Prepare bank reconciliation and statements of account for debtors and creditors.
Assist with monthly and year-end account closing.
Assist in preparing cash flow reports and monitoring banking facilities.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documents.
Assist the Finance Manager with daily finance-related tasks.
Ensure proper filing and organisation of finance documents.
Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
Must Have
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Experience in full set accounts is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, organised, and responsible.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and willing to learn.
Good to Have
Experience in property development or construction industry.
Familiarity with accounting systems such as IFCA, SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or similar systems.
Experience in bank reconciliation, account closing, and cash flow management.
