Job summary

Agroto Business (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Finance Executive to support daily accounting tasks, data entry, and basic financial record keeping. You will work with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

You will assist with vendor invoices, employee expenses, customer payments, and bank transactions, while helping with reconciliations, reporting, budgeting tracking, asset registers, and audit preparations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Education in accounting/finance or related field.
• 0–1 year of finance, accounting or admin experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial transactions and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately and timely.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and customer payments.
• Support bank transaction recording and basic reconciliations.
• Maintain filing systems for financial documents and records.
• Organize and prepare documentation for audits and reviews.
• Compile financial data to support monthly and quarterly reports.
• Track budget vs. actual expenses with guidance from seniors.
• Monitor payment schedules and receivables aging reports.
• Assist with updating fixed asset registers and asset verification.
• Adhere to internal financial controls and collaborate with the finance team.
