Job summary

SUPERSIC (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd is seeking an energetic engineering graduate to join the 24/7 manufacturing floor. You will perform daily inspections of facility utilities, assist with preventive maintenance, and act as a quick responder to basic tool issues, while ensuring safety and quality on-site.

You will support SOPs, P&IDs, and logbooks, monitor water quality and dosing, and help manage spare parts and cross-functional tasks with production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• CGPA 3.00 or above (or equivalent).
• Open to fresh graduates; internship/FYP in manufacturing plants is a plus.
• Understanding of utility systems: chilled water, HVAC, CDA, industrial gases, high/low voltage."
• Ability to read P&ID, single-line diagrams, and simple CAD drawings.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data logging and trend analysis.
• Strong knowledge of EHS guidelines and LOTO requirements.
• Fluent in English and Malay, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Daily Operational Inspections: Conduct daily routine patrol inspections on facility utility systems (electricity, water, compressed air, HVAC) and log operational data to ensure continuous, stable production supply.


• Preventive Maintenance (PM) Support: Assist senior engineers in executing scheduled preventive maintenance routines, meticulously updating tool history files, and managing PM checklists.


• First-Line Troubleshooting: Serve as a quick responder to basic facility tool abnormalities, initiating immediate troubleshooting steps to minimize potential production downtime.


• Contractor Safety & Quality Supervision: Coordinate and supervise on-site contractors during equipment installation, relocation, or utility hook-ups, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.


• Energy & Water Conservation Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on tracking power usage effectiveness, carbon footprints, and energy-saving opportunities.


• EHS Compliance & Hazard Identification: Perform routine safety audits across facility areas to identify hazard risks, enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and ensure zero compromise on environmental, health, and safety standards.


• SOP & Technical Documentation Upkeep: Support the engineering team in drafting, updating, and indexing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical drawings (P&IDs), and operational logbooks.


• Water Quality & Chemical Dosing Management: Monitor and test water quality parameters for cooling tower and process water systems, adjusting automatic chemical dosing to prevent scaling and corrosion.


• Spare Parts Inventory Control: Assist in managing the spare parts store, tracking inventory levels, logging consumables usage, and initiating part requisition orders to prevent critical shortages.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner tightly with production, quality, and equipment engineering teams to guarantee smooth manufacturing routines and complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering


• Academic Standards: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or above (or equivalent upper second-class honors), demonstrating a strong academic foundation in core engineering principles.


• Open to fresh graduates. Prior 3–6 months of internship or final year project (FYP) experience related to manufacturing plants, wafer fabs, or facility utilities is a major advantage.


• Basic understanding of industrial utility systems, including chilled water systems, HVAC, compressed air (CDA), industrial gas distribution, or high-and-low voltage power networks.


• Ability to interpret basic engineering schematics, such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), single-line diagrams, and simple CAD/mechanical drawings.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel for data logging, parsing running telemetry, and charting baseline trends.


• Strong fundamental knowledge of industrial safety protocols, including Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.


• Fluent command of both written and spoken English and Malay to smoothly communicate technical summaries to management and coordinate with on-site technicians or contractors.


• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing floor environment.


• Sound analytical mindset with emotional resilience to stay level-headed under strict manufacturing delivery timelines or unexpected system interruptions.
