Job summary

Carsome Sdn Bhd is hiring a Junior Executive Finance (AR) open to fresh graduates in Petaling Jaya. You will assist daily accounts receivable activities, support month-end closing, reconcile bank statements, and process ERP transactions.

You'll verify Dingtalk forms, manage parking/trailer entries, and help with audit and tax queries while contributing to timely financial reporting. English proficiency is required, and basic IT skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and complete monthly closing procedures.
• Verify transactions in Dingtalk forms (car rejections, dealer refunds, compensation, repairs).
• Process parking and trailer transactions into ERP and prepare related invoices.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and handle bank charges/interest in ERP.
• Support audit and tax queries and assist in financial reporting tasks.
• Handle ad hoc receivables ageing tasks and contribute to process improvements.

Junior Executive Finance (AR) - Open to Fresh Graduate

About You Assist in the account receivable functions to ensure day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities are execute effectively and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day

Provide support on month-end and year-end closing, and complete monthly closing procedures.

To verify transaction in Dingtalk form for car rejections form, dealer refund, compensation form and repairing form.

To perform batch processing of parking and trailer transactions into ERP.

To prepare bank reconciliation for payment received from customer and transact other transactions such as bank charges/interest, funding society in ERP.

To assist in managing audit and tax queries.

To perform other accounting / finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.

Bank reconciliation - Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and transact other transactions such as bank charges/interest and funding society in ERP.

Parking and trailer transactions - Perform checking on parking and trailer receipt from dealer and transact into ERP. Issues invoices for trailer transactions in ERP.

Payment from Carsome Certified - Transact manually car payment received from Carsome Certified.

Dingtalk verification - Perform verification in Dingtalk relating to the car rejection forms, dealer refund, compensation and repair forms.

Receivables ageing related ad hoc task - Assist in clearing the open items in the receivables ageing.

Audit and tax queries - Assist in audit and tax queries whenever necessary.

Your Know-How

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.

Open to fresh graduates or candidates with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.

Good command in English, both oral & written.

Basic degree of computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Basic knowledge on accounting treatment and account receivables process. Start to know how to solve simple daily operational issues and involve in financial reporting activities.

Short-notice or immediate starter will be an added advantage.

Able to cope with a fast-paced working culture.

Willing to work extra hours when required.
