Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Event Coordinator to play a key role in bringing bold, high-impact corporate events to life. You will drive behind-the-scenes actions to ensure every detail is flawless and each event delivers a seamless, memorable experience for clients and guests.

Responsibilities include end-to-end event planning, client liaison, logistics management, and on-site operations oversight to ensure brand alignment and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience coordinating events (internships, freelance, or agency work acceptable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning tools (e.g., Adobe, Keynote, or similar platforms).
• Creative mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
• Team player with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand event goals, budgets, and expectations.
• Handle logistics including venue setup, registration, signage, and materials.
• Oversee on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
• Ensure all events align with brand guidelines and client objectives.
• Track budgets and ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams (marketing, design, logistics) for seamless execution.
