Job summary

Riverview Rubber Estates Berhad in Perak, Malaysia seeks an Estate Operations professional to assist the manager in developing and managing the plantation's overall operations. You will lead land development, cost control, HR and field work, while ensuring practices meet MSPO/RSPO standards.

You will supervise planting, maintenance and nursery activities, implement good agricultural practices, and report to the head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Plantation related discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities with ability to lead a team.
• Good people management, communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work and live in a plantation environment.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in developing and managing overall operation of the oil palms plantation and plan future development.
• Take control of all phases and aspects of estate operation, including land development, cost management, HR, worker management, planting practices, systems and methods, and FFB production.
• Supervise oil palm planting, field maintenance and nursery management.
• Propose and implement professional agricultural practices when necessary.
• Ensure estate is managed to standard per agricultural practices and company requirements.
• Provide leadership to estate staff to achieve targets and performance.
• Communicate regularly and report to department head/head office.
• Modernize estate practices with awareness of MSPO & RSPO requirements.
