Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur invites a fresh graduate engineer to assist the Engineering and Project teams with day-to-day activities, planning and documentation.

You will support site inspections, coordinate with stakeholders, review drawings, and help ensure safety, quality and schedules. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD are welcomed; travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering and Project team with day-to-day activities.
• Support project planning, coordination and monitoring to meet schedules.
• Prepare technical documents, reports, drawings, specs and other project docs.
• Assist site inspections, measurements and verification of works.
• Monitor progress and identify issues or delays.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Review drawings, specs, material requirements and method statements.
• Prepare material submissions, schedules and progress reports.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, requirements, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Attend site meetings and technical discussions.
• Assist in troubleshooting with supervision of senior engineers.
• Maintain records of project documents, site activities and correspondence.
• Perform other engineering or project duties as assigned.
