Alpha IVF & Women's Specialists in Kota Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia, invites applications for a Junior Embryologist. The successful candidate will assist with semen analysis, embryo culture, donor programme support, data analysis, and quality assurance in a state‑of‑the‑art IVF lab.

Requirements include a BSc in Biomedical Sciences or Biotechnology, 1 year of related experience or fresh graduates, proficiency in MS Office, and strong English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin communication.

Formación

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsabilidades

• Handle semen analysis, sperm preparation, selection and culture of oocytes and embryos, and freeze/thaw of embryos.
• Assist in other IVF lab aspects, including maintenance, cleanliness, sterility, and stock of consumables and frozen gametes.
• Keep abreast with reproductive technologies; read journals and participate in conferences where sponsored.
• Assist in the Donor Programme including recruitment of donors and updating blood tests.
• Be committed to achieving good fertilisation and pregnancy rates.
• Assist in data analysis for ART statistics.
• Support quality assurance activities in the lab.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Descripción del empleo

1. To handle semen analysis, sperm preparation, selection and culture of oocytes and embryos, freeze/thaw embryos and carry out ICSI and other types of ART procedures when required.
2. To assist in all other aspects of the IVF laboratory including its maintenance, cleanliness, sterility and the indenting, purchasing and keeping stock of consumables and frozen gametes.
3. To keep abreast with Reproductive technologies and techniques. This includes the reading of the journals and participation in conferences, some of which will be sponsored.
4. To assist in the Donor Programme including the recruitment of new donors, the update of blood tests, etc.
5. To be totally committed in producing good fertilisation and pregnancy rates.
6. To assist in data analysis for all ART relevant statistics.
7. To assist in quality assurance activities of lab.
8. To carry out any other duties as assigned.

JUNIOR EMBRYOLOGIST/ EMBRYOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicants must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology or equivalent.

2. Preferably candidates with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
