About the role We are seeking a Junior Electrical Technician/Equipment Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Junior Electrical Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical equipment and Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) systems. Key responsibilities
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical equipment and AVR systems according to technical specifications and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing on electrical and electronic components to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and issues using appropriate testing equipment and tools
Repair and replace faulty electrical components and AVR units in a timely and efficient manner
Conduct electrical safety checks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Document all service activities, maintenance records, and technical findings in a clear and organised manner
Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical problems
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on the operation and maintenance of equipment
Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in electrical and electronic engineering
What we're looking for
Fresh graduates or individuals with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundational knowledge of electrical principles, circuit theory, and electronic systems
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically through technical challenges
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
