Job summary

CNECC Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Diploma or higher-qualified Electrical Engineer to lead installation, testing, and commissioning at project sites in Johor. You will review drawings, coordinate design changes, and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD proficiency, knowledge of MS IEC standards, and are able to work independently on site. English is mandatory; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related fields.
• Experience in electrical installation or project site management preferred.
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical standards (MS IEC, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and safety requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic electrical design or load calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems at project sites.
• Review drawings and specifications; coordinate design revisions and resolve issues.
• Prepare and manage work schedules; monitor progress and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors for cable laying, switchboard installation, grounding, and lighting systems.
• Oversee delivery, testing, and inspection of electrical equipment (transformers, switchboards, generators).
• Assist Project Manager with technical coordination, material review, and cost monitoring.
• Liaise with authorities and clients for inspections and handovers.
• Prepare electrical installation records, testing reports, and as-built documentation.
