Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or science, preferably mechanical, electromechanical or product design.
• Fresh graduates or engineers with <2 years' experience in plastic part design, tooling, molding, and tolerance analysis.
• DFMEA and PFMEA knowledge and applied experience.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD and technical drawing.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, manufacturable designs and ensure design is ready for production.
• Tackle complex design problems and generate multiple concepts.
• Plan tasks by risk, monitor progress, and escalate issues when needed.
• Create design specifications, CAD models, BOMs, and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize for assembly, manufacturing, and cost.
• Support design reviews and change requests as required.
