Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop lifting equipment solutions. You will create detailed drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for internal manufacturing.

The role involves liaising with regulatory authorities and collaborating with production teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs, while providing technical support to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design/fabrication/lifting equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations (lifting equipment experience is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop lifting equipment solutions based on client requirements, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for internal manufacturing.
• Liaise with JKKP for equipment registration and regulatory requirements handling.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
• Support installation teams and sales executives to progress projects and resolve design issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.

• Work alongside installation teams and sales executives to support project progress and resolve design-related matters.
• Provide technical support, consultation, and advice to both internal teams and external clients when required.
