Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design lifting equipment and produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The role requires collaboration with manufacturing, installation, and sales teams to ensure compliant and on-time project delivery.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of related experience, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and engineering standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design, fabrication, or lifting equipment industry preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations; lifting equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop lifting equipment solutions based on client requirements.
• Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and specs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies (JKKP) for equipment registration and compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, installation, and sales teams to support project progress.
• Provide technical support and advisory to internal teams and external clients as needed.

Requirement

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (preferably in design, fabrication, or lifting equipment industry).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations (experience with lifting equipment is an advantage).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibility

• Design and develop lifting equipment solutions based on client requirements, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for internal manufacturing and production.
• Liaise with JKKP (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia) for equipment registration and gain hands-on experience dealing with regulatory requirements for lifting systems.
• Collaborate closely with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth and accurate implementation of design solutions.
• Work alongside installation teams and sales executives to support project progress and resolve design-related matters.
• Provide technical support, consultation, and advice to both internal teams and external clients when required.
