Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Bandar Sunway is seeking a Junior Cook/Assistant Cook to join our kitchen team. You will assist in food preparation, handle ingredients with proper hygiene, and prepare meals while keeping guests' requests in mind.

We value candidates with a diploma or higher and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required, with a supportive work environment and performance-based rewards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification required.
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience (healthcare/hospitality preferred).
• Basic knowledge of HALAL, HACCP & Food Safety.
• Willing to work weekends & public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pre-prepare ingredients up to 3 days in advance.
• Handle raw ingredients with proper cleaning & cutting techniques.
• Prepare daily meals and accommodate guest requests.
• Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation.
