Sena Letrik is seeking a Junior Contract Executive (Quantity Surveyor) to oversee contracts from pre- to post-contract stages. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, with strong cost control, VO/claims handling, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and contract management tools is essential. You will support procurement, prepare BOQs and final accounts, and report on budgets and cash flow to stakeholders.
Responsible for managing and administering project contracts throughout the pre- and post-contract stages, including contract documentation, variation order (VO) evaluation, claims, and payment certification. The candidate should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of construction contract practices, and the ability to negotiate, resolve contractual issues, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in manage project contracts across pre- and post-contract stages, ensuring contractual compliance and risk control.
Prepare and administer cost estimates, BOQ, progress claims, valuations, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
Assist in evaluation and negotiation of EOT, VO, claims, and other contractual matters with stakeholders.
Monitor project cost, budgets, cash flow, and provide regular commercial and financial reports.
Support subcontract procurement process, including evaluation, negotiations and award recommendations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams on contractual matters and site progress issues.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveyingor a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in contract management or Quantity Surveying or related industries.
Proven track record of successfully managing M&E contracts, claims, and procurement processes.
Strong knowledge of construction contract administration covering pre- and post-contract stages.
Proficient in cost control, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and preparation of BOQ, valuations, and final account.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Skilled in MS Office (especially Excel) and relevant project/contract management systems.
Good in communication, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure to meet project deadlines objectives.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and resolve issues efficiently.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy in contract documentation and reporting.
Communication & Coordination Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Ability to negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in contract management software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Time Management & Organization:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of contract reviews, claims, and procurement processes.
Professionalism & Integrity:
High level of professionalism and integrity in handling confidential contract matters and supplier relationships.
