Job summary

JS Solar Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam seeks a drafting professional to prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD/GstarCAD and related tools. You will convert survey data into accurate as-built drawings and coordinate with project teams to reflect site conditions.

The role includes supporting proposals with drawings, maintaining filing and version control, and ensuring compliance with standards. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Drafting or related field is required.
• Fresh graduates/junior candidates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, GstarCAD or other CAD software such as SketchUp or DraftSight.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and site layouts.
• Basic knowledge of solar PV system layout/design is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise technical drawings (layouts, single-line diagrams, site plans) using CAD software.
• Convert site survey/markup information into accurate as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to reflect actual conditions in drawings.
• Support proposal and tender submissions with necessary drawings and layouts.
• Maintain drawing filing, version control, and documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and relevant codes/regulations.
• Assist in basic system layout/sizing using tools such as Helioscope/PVsyst (training provided).
