Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Buyer to join the Procurement team in Malaysia to support efficient procurement, supply continuity, cost optimization, and delivery performance for semiconductor manufacturing programs.

You will manage procurement programs, resolve material and supplier issues, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability, gaining experience in a global semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with MRP/ERP and PLM systems; Oracle, SAP, and Agile preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute supply chain programs to ensure on-time delivery, reduce risks, and optimize cash flow.
Attend production meetings and communicate material shortages to stakeholders.
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for planning errors and supplier constraints.
Manage DDMRP programs, Kanban, and safety stock to maintain inventory and continuity.
Maintain ERP data, supplier forecasts, contracts, and replenishment quantities.
Coordinate with planning and project managers to align supplier schedules.
Analyze value chains to identify efficiency improvements.
Build strong supplier relationships and understand their processes and capabilities.
Communicate supply issues and escalations clearly to suppliers and internal teams.
