Job summary

Ayuga Agarwood Factory Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Boilerman to support the safe and continuous operation of our boiler system at our Karak, Pahang factory. Freshly qualified candidates are encouraged, and you will work on a rotating shift including nights to monitor boiler and distillation operations.

You will record readings, perform routine checks, and report safety concerns while collaborating with the existing boiler operator and management to maintain safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid/recognised Boilerman competency or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the boiler in accordance with safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Carry out routine checks of boiler equipment and operating conditions.
• Monitor boiler operation during assigned shifts, including night shifts.
• Monitor and assist with the distillation process and related plant operations.
• Record operating parameters, readings and relevant observations.
• Conduct routine inspection and monitoring to ensure the boiler is operating safely and properly.
• Report any abnormal conditions, equipment issues or safety concerns to the management.
• Carry out basic operational checks and housekeeping around the boiler area.
• Ensure boiler operation complies with applicable safety requirements and company procedures.
• Work closely with the existing boiler operator and factory management.

Job description

We are looking for a Junior Boilerman / Boiler Operator to support the safe and continuous operation of our boiler system at our factory in Karak, Pahang. This position is suitable for a freshly qualified or junior boilerman who is looking to gain practical experience in boiler operation and industrial plant operations. As the boiler operates on a 24-hour basis, the successful candidate must be willing to work shift hours, including night shifts, and carry out routine monitoring and checking of the boiler and related operations.
