Job summary

Biru Coffee & Sando Cafe is seeking a Junior Barista to assist in preparing hot and cold beverages and to provide excellent beverage service to guests in a friendly cafe setting.

You will follow brand standards for espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, operate and maintain the equipment, and help manage stock levels while learning from Senior Baristas. This entry-level role emphasizes hygiene and learning on the floor.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with basic coffee knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Valid Typhoid Vaccination and MOH Food Handler Certificate.
• High attention to detail and good hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages following standard recipes, grind settings, and milk steaming techniques.
• Operate and clean coffee grinders, espresso machines, blenders, and beverage tools according to daily sanitization schedules.
• Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and communicate order call-outs clearly.
• Monitor coffee bean, milk, syrup, and packaging stock levels; ensure FIFO rotation for perishables.
