Job summary

Doña Bakehouse in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Junior Baker to join our pastry and bakery production team. You will support daily operations, ensuring quality and consistency of our products with adherence to SOPs.

The role requires 1–2 years of bakery or pastry experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Malaysian citizenship is required. Training will be provided, and you will be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic bakery setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant bakery or pastry experience.
• Malaysian citizens only.
• Basic knowledge of bakery and pastry production.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily pastry and bakery production according to recipes and SOPs.
• Prepare pastry creams, jams, desserts, cakes, assembled goods, pastries, and breads.
• Operate ovens and bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking time and temperature to ensure consistent product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper food-handling practices in the production area.
• Assist with packing customer orders and heating pastries according to SOP.
• Complete daily tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
• Support the team to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties related to bakery and pastry operations when required.
