Job summary

Fortiv Consultancy Sdn Bhd, based in Taman Seri Austin, Johor Bahru, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support client financial operations in a dynamic, training-focused environment. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, AP/AR, monthly reports, and data verification, working with Autocount or similar software, with oversight and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of accounting and ability to learn quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Spoken and written English; Malay would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: data entry, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting schedules.
Process accounts payable and receivable accurately.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
Assist with filing, document management, and addressing client queries.
Support financial analysis and help clients understand their financial position.
Collaborate with clients to collect, organize, and verify financial data.
