Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professional accounting knowledge.
• A proactive and professional attitude towards work.
• Relevant accounting certifications or completion of formal accounting training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with recording and processing of financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders and payment vouchers.
• Maintaining accurate and organised accounting records and ledgers.
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports under supervision.
• Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash management activities.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assisting with reconciliation of accounts and identifying discrepancies.
• Supporting the coordination of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Filing and organising financial documents in a timely and systematic manner.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks related to the accounting function.
