Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written & spoken)
• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field

• Professional demeanor with confidentiality
• Experience in accounting/finance admin preferred
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices and tax is a plus

JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (MANDARIN SPEAKER)

We are seeking a Junior Account Executive (Mandarin Speaker) to join the accounting team at JS HOME LIVING SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Pontian, Johor. In this role, you will provide essential accounting and administrative support to our finance department, whilst utilising your Mandarin language skills to communicate with our Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders. This position is vital to ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining strong client relationships across our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and processing of financial documents, invoices, and expense reports

Maintain accurate and organised financial records and filing systems

Support the reconciliation of accounts and identification of discrepancies

Communicate with clients and vendors in Mandarin Chinese regarding account inquiries and billing matters

Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry and document preparation

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Support the preparation of financial statements and reports

Liaise between the company and Mandarin-speaking clients to ensure clear communication on financial matters

Perform general accounting duties as assigned by senior accounting staff

What We're Looking For

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) with strong English communication skills

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Professional demeanour and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Previous experience in accounting or financial administration is preferred

Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices and tax regulations is advantageous
