Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Negeri Sembilan seeks a drafting technician to prepare and update 2D fabrication drawings, layouts, and simple 3D models. You will revise drawings based on engineers' feedback and ensure conformity with company standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Architecture or related field and proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools. You will support senior designers and maintain revision-controlled drawings, coordinating with fabrication and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and listed design software.
• 1–2 years drafting/design experience in fabrication or related industries.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Mature, independent, proactive, and technically decisive.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Architecture, Design Engineering , Drafting, or related field.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD (compulsory), SketchUp, SolidWorks, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator; additional skills are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of fabrication drawings and standards.
• 1–2 years of drafting or design experience in fabrication or related industries.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Mature, independent, proactive, self-motivated, and possess strong technical decision-making skills.
