JOB VACANCY - PROJECT ENGINEER (BASED IN SABAH)

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Project Engineer provides technical and coordination support to ensure smooth project execution. This position involves planning, monitoring, and managing interfaces between various disciplines to deliver works safely, on schedule, and within budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas, with at least 3 years in project or field engineering.
• Familiar with project management practices, cost control, and planning tools.
• Knowledge of PETRONAS standards and safe work systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and manage project activities across disciplines.
• Develop and compile work packs, job method sheets, and site procedures.
• Support planning and scheduling of project works.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Interface with client and project teams on execution matters.
• Conduct work scoping, progress monitoring, and reporting.
