Job summary

Tsing Digital Technology Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Content Moderator with JLPT N1/N2 to review and moderate content across video, image, and text formats. You will enforce policies, identify violations, and escalate when needed.

The role requires handling sensitive content with professionalism in a fast-paced BPO environment. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of moderation experience, JLPT N1, English B2, and a Diploma or higher.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Content Moderation experience.
• Proficient in Japanese and English: Japanese JLPT N1 or equivalent, and English B2 or equivalent.
• Diploma or above in any field.
• Strong attention to detail, judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of Japanese culture, online trends, and digital platforms.
• Comfortable handling sensitive or potentially disturbing content.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure BPO environment.
• Japanese typing speed: Minimum 192 WPM (B+ level or above).
• Willing to work on a 24/7 rotational shift, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, BPO, Customer Service, or E-commerce is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and moderate video, image, and text content according to company policies, SOPs, and moderation guidelines.
• Identify policy violations and take appropriate action based on moderation standards.
• Handle sensitive, explicit, or potentially disturbing content professionally and objectively.
• Escalate complex or urgent cases to the relevant team when required.
• Meet required quality, accuracy, TAT, and productivity standards.
• Handle high-volume workloads, including during peak periods and campaigns.
• Stay updated on policy and process changes and complete required training and assessments.
• Comply with company policies, confidentiality, and data security requirements.
