Job summary

CSYAP Group is seeking a Jig & Fixture Engineer in Selangor, Malaysia to design, develop, and validate jigs, fixtures, and tooling supporting welding, fabrication, and assembly processes.

The role focuses on improving accuracy, repeatability, safety, efficiency, and product quality through effective fixture and tooling solutions, collaborating with Welding, Fabrication, Production, and Design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in jig, fixture or tooling design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production.
• Validate and improve fixture designs through trials and testing.
• Provide technical support during production and pilot builds.
• Modify existing fixtures to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure fixture compatibility with welding and assembly processes.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-effective manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering requirements.
