Job summary

DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to help build the technology backbone of a global logistics leader. You will work on Java backend and microservices, with Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and cloud exposure.

Collaboration across regions and teams in a multinational setting is expected, with strong English communication. You will contribute to design, development, and testing while embracing Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Core Java skills with OOP, data structures and exception handling.
• Experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Full-stack capabilities: React frontend and Node.js backend; HTML/CSS/JS.
• Relational and NoSQL databases; SQL, ORM tools like Hibernate; performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of high-quality Java-based software.
• Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring scalable systems.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI and QA to align requirements and solutions.
• Develop and run unit/integration/ automated tests to guarantee quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and improve development processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely project execution.
• Oversee deployment and ensure production readiness with stakeholders.
