Detailed Job Description:

As a Java Developer – Cards at Kamlax Global Technologies in Malaysia, you will take full ownership of building, optimizing, and maintaining mission-critical financial applications supporting credit and debit card transactions. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass developing clean, secure backend code in Java and J2EE, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices architectures using Spring and Spring Boot. You will manage complex database transactions, optimize SQL performance, and ensure strict compliance with global payment security standards (PCI-DSS). Working in a collaborative Agile environment, you will participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and integration testing with banking partners while ensuring high availability and low latency across production card platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust enterprise applications and distributed microservices using Java and J2EE.
• Build core payment processing systems and credit/debit card management modules within the banking domain.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring and Spring Boot framework.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Deep domain expertise and hands-on professional experience within the Cards domain, payment processing, or issuing/acquiring systems.
• Strong industry background in Banking and Financial Services sectors.
• Extensive technical expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Solid practical knowledge of SQL database management, relational modeling, and query optimization.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
