Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a backend developer to build and maintain backend services using Core Java and SpringBoot, with a focus on RESTful and streaming APIs. You will collaborate with fellow developers to ensure high-quality API interactions and participate in design reviews.

Responsibilities include translating business requirements with BAs and PMs, managing deployments, and driving automation in build and deployment processes, while leveraging Linux, scripting, and common DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Core Java with SpringBoot and RESTful/streaming APIs.
• Experience implementing client-server API interactions and collaborating with back-end teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional features with QA involvement.
• Familiarity with automated build/deploy processes and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Core Java, SpringBoot, RESTful and streaming APIs.
• Collaborate with other back-end developers for seamless API interactions; participate in peer reviews.
• Work with BAs and PMs to translate requirements into features.
• Handle deployments, releases, and operational tasks with emphasis on automation and CI/CD.
