• Work experience as English→Japanese translator/interpreter in any industry.
• Ability to adapt under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong time management to handle multiple localization tasks.
• Chinese/Mandarin is an advantageous plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences and discussions with Japanese- and English-speaking participants.
• Translate spoken words accurately between Japanese and English; convey intended meaning.
• Translate written documents and materials from Japanese to English and vice versa while preserving tone and style.
• Contribute to game localization to ensure cultural and narrative integrity for Japanese and international audiences.
• Work on marketing content translation and localization (videos, social media, etc.).
• Maintain professionalism, ethics and confidentiality for sensitive or unreleased content.
• Understand cultural nuances to bridge communication gaps between teams.

• Provide real-time interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and discussions involving Japanese-speaking and English-speaking individuals.


• Translate spoken words accurately and convey the intended meaning from Japanese to English or vice versa.


• Translate written documents, emails, working briefs, and other materials from Japanese to English or vice versa to ensure that the translated content maintains the original meaning, style, and tone.


• Work on localization to ensure that the game content is culturally appropriate for both Japanese and international audiences. Provide linguistic input to maintain the integrity of the game’s narrative and user experience.


• Work on marketing content translation and localization (e.g., commercial videos, social media content, etc.).


• Maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality, especially when dealing with sensitive information or unreleased game content.


• Understand cultural nuances to effectively bridge communication gaps between teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese (Native level or JLPT N1 Level).
