Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable IT Supervisor/Assistant for our retail IT operations in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires a Diploma in CS/IT and 2–3 years of supervisory experience, ideally in IT hardware/software and in a Retail/F&B context.

Responsibilities include supervising the IT team, maintaining hardware/software, and managing the POS system. The candidate should communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia and be able to work retail shifts. Start date is targeted for October 2026.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in IT/Computer hardware and software.
• IT experience in Retail and F&B is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, positive attitude, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with all levels.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work retail shift hours.
• Tentative start date in October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the IT team and maintain hardware/software, servers, networking, printers, and email.
• Direct and delegate tasks; provide guidance to subordinates.
• Maintain and troubleshoot POS system and payment terminals.
• Maintain IT inventory records and tagging.
• Conduct periodic software audits and IT housekeeping.
• Keep knowledge base and manage IT incidents and changes.
• Manage licenses and hardware warranty renewals.
• Execute tasks as assigned by supervisor.
